EMERGENCY DRILL

After severe weather (snow, heavy rain etc.), the Home Club Secretary, together with the referee, if available, must inspect the pitch on the morning of the match. If the pitch is unplayable, inform the opposing Club Secretary immediately, thus saving any unnecessary expenses and travelling. The referee is entitled to half fee plus expenses if he inspects the pitch and postpones the match, read League Rule Ten (10) G and Cup Rule One (1) E & F.

Club Secretaries

The home club Secretary must confirm all games with opposing Secretary & Referee four (4) days prior to match day. Read League Rule Ten (10) E.

The home club must ring result & match report to the League Press Officer between 1230 & 1400 hrs for Sunday matches and 2100 hrs for mid-week matches ON THE DAY OF THE MATCH. Read League Rule Eleven (11) B

Both club Secretaries must inform the League Fixture Secretary of ALL postponed/abandoned matches. Read League Rule Ten (10) G.

Forms for all requests & changes are available from the website www.cdsfl.org.uk and must be used as required.

Cup Games

If a draw after 90(ninety) minutes, extra time fifteen (15) minutes each way, then penalty kicks, must get a result. No Replays. Read Cup Rule Three (3).

Referees

Please confirm your appointment ASAP with the Referees Appointment Secretary. To keep a true record the result sheet must be completed with any cards issued against each player i.e. circle 1 Y for yellow, circle 2 Y for 2 yellow cards & R for red card and then sign the form.
